Imagination

Ephesians 1:18 “ I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling.“

Papa God wants to illuminate our imagination! If we belong to Christ, God wants us to use our imagination to dream about His wonderful kingdom. He would like our imagination to be flooded with light. As we spend time imagining His love and His glory, heaven and angels, we will then experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling. He has such a wonderful calling for each of our lives. For so many of us, our imaginations have been used to picture the worst. We imagine bad days we imagine sickness that will never get over we imagine people hating us rather than loving us. Today is the day to turn that around! And begin to imagine the favor of God on our life in ways that we could only dream of.

Take some time throughout your day to sit and close your eyes and begin to ask the Lord to show you what His kingdom looks like. Ask him to show you how he sees you. Ask him to show you about any questions you might have about His kingdom. Allow your imagination to remain flooded with light, don’t go to the “Dark-side”.

Allow him to take you on a journey of life. If you encounter hopelessness, darkness or other things that are not from God’s kingdom, say this, “papa God I give you this painful memory, dark vision of the future, (whatever) and I ask you to heal me and remove this from me. I only want your kingdom.”

Jesus said, "Unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) But if you are born again you should be able to see the kingdom, allow the Lord to teach you how to use your imagination to see his kingdom!"
